Message from Pastor Porter:
My wife, Sharon, and I relocated to this area from Fresno 46 years ago. We have lived in this area since that time. I have served as the senior pastor since 1997. I also serve as the senior Chaplain for the Monterey County Sheriff's Office and any other law enforcement or public safety representative that requests our services. I also volunteer as a Spiritual Care Provider at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital.

Message from Worship Leader Yvonne Jones:
God calls all His children, no matter their ages and abilities, into passionate relationship with Himself. I like to challenge the barriers that keep people from connecting with God and each other. Come to our worship service expecting your mind and heart to be engaged and your spirit moved by God's truth and presence.
Everyone can find a way to participate in our worship services - children, youth, adults, musicians, singers, actors, readers, audio and visual volunteers, ushers, prayer givers, offering collectors, and if you think of something else that helps people connect with God, let me know! Yes, smiling and listening with an open heart count.
When you visit a church, don't just ask, "Will I be fed here?" Ask, "Is this where you want me to shine for You, Lord?" We believe in empowering every believer to make a difference according to their gifts and talents. (No, we don't guilt anyone into volunteering!) Come and see!
Lay Pastor Matthew Lindholm currently delivers the sermons and is being mentored by Pastor Porter as Porter prepares to eventually retire from head pastorship (but not from serving God!)
Matthew is known for his ready smile and his candor in speaking from the heart.
